Just wondering if anyone watched the special on MSNBC on Folsom a few nights ago. My sons and I watched it. If so did you look for your loved one if he is there and what did you think about the program?

I couldnt believe the violence and the way "death row" was carried out in the beginning.

I did watch the special too. I beleive it was a few years ago...I personally dont know anyone there, but I did notice some of the names of the guys interviewed. Ive seen them on Pen Pal sites. I too was shocked about the way they did the hangings there back in the day. Mostly the part where they moved U cell by cell down the row so U were in order by cell of death. Also the fact that they could actually hear the hanging (even though they couldn't see it) was just awful!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do have 1 ? if anyone knows the answer or could tell from the TV special.........Are a majority the cells 1 man cells??? It seemed to me that 90% of the cells they showed us (actually inside it, or through the bars that the guys were talking at) seemed to only be 1 man cells. Do they have certian blocks where the men are serving long sentences or are in seg. that they are alone in 1 man cells? Happy Easter Everyone!!

From what I saw some where more than one man cells. Remember the Mexican man with tat's all over his neck,chest? There was a shorter MExican guy behind him in his cell.

Yes the death row was quiet disturbing---also they said death row was really short.
