Hey guys, I talked to the INS officer today who is in charge of Juan's case. No, no news yet, his case is in Washington DC and we should have an answer soon (yeah right). Anyway, he told me that there was one change. Every year INS changes cases with their officers. He said that as of last Friday a new INS has taken over Juan's case. I didn't know this. That doesn't give them a long enough time to know the person and what is going on. That means a knew person has to catch up on the situation and I have to go through all this crap again. I still have not decided on my marriage yet, but I will not leave Juan in the hands of INS either.

So, all you people out there with family that is dealing with INS. You guys have a new officer to deal with.

Just thought I'd pass on the good news.

When I was dealing with INS in getting my now EX over from the Phillippines, I had to get my State Senitor involved to get anything done.

INS told me I had to REFILE since no record was available, but when a letter came from my Senitor, those papers poped right up.

Proves again how disfunctional and disorganized the INS is!
