On Tuesday, Blue became the 1st death-row inmate in Mississippi to be
resentenced to life without parole under last year's U.S. Supreme Court
ruling that makes it unconstitutional to execute the mentally retarded.
At least 5 other Mississippi death row inmates say they are mentally
retarded, but the state disputes their claims, according to Assistant
Attorney General Sonny White Jr.
