Intake medical screening done and levels suggested liver disease, does anyone know if IDOC tests for Hep C? This would've been done in 1999/2000. Looking for answers.

I know that a several months ago my husband had some routine blood work done. I am pretty sure he said it included HepC. He was at a work center and they tested everyone so I am sure they probably run the same tests in the prisons.

I would think you should be allowed to request any of the records from that time. I am pretty sure the only blood work that would have been done before Cottonwood would have been done in RDU. I would start by contacting the records department. They should be able to guide you. I cant think of the gals name off the top of my head in records, but she is very nice and helpful.
