Welcome to PTO ohkwaho! Have you tried contacting the Kitchener- Waterloo Record and asking for information on obtaining news articles from 1992? (or even asking at your local library?) There are some parole letter samples in the Parole,Probation Forum which you might find helpful.

hi and welcome... for pointers on writing parole letters, may I direct you to my website, as I've posted a page on Parole Support Letters, to help those who are going to write one for my man this year...? Website removed, please see PTO rules and policies. Pm member for information.

And yes - there's also a great thread about it in the Parole forum here on PTO...

And for details of any case, you can go to the Provincial court website, and "search judgments" with his name as the keyword, you should be able to read the reasons for the judgments of any convictions he has in ONT. I only have the BC courts one on my site, but if you go there if may help you find the ONT prov site? http://www.courts.gov.bc.ca/search/search.asp

Hope this helps, good luck!

If you have a library card and your public library offers it, you may be able to search EBSCO Publishing Services, I know Toronto, Markham and Oshawa libraries have this and can be accessed online from home, or at the library. This allows you to search newspapers and magazines from many years ago up to today. http://www.oshawalibrary.on.ca/research.asp <---- Here is the Oshawa link,
