Ok I am not sure where to ask for help but I am putting it in here. I am in need of some support letters for anthony. Some of you have gotten to know us via this site. It is my hope that in all of this that i can reach out and ask for your help. I want to send as many letters of support for Anthony as I can.. This include the support of our marriage and your opinions on how things may be. I am just looking to show them that he does have a strong support network and is able to lean on it... Please help us and if you feel that this is something you are comfortable doing just email your letters to me and I will print them out. If you read my post you will see why he is in there and learn more about us.. thank you to everyone in advance.. Much love to you all..

Well I am attaching a copy of the letter that I wrote. What they want is to see that he has a network of people for support and that you feel like he is going to have a stable homelife and stay out of trouble and that letting him out would not endanger the safety of anyone.
It needs to be addressed to the parole board as listed in my previous post or just email it to me with attention parole board and regarding Higgins, Anthony #599991

Attn: Parole Board Members

To Whom It May Concern: May 3, 2002

I am writing to you on behalf of my husband Anthony Wayne Higgins # 599991. I am in support of his release from the Texas Correctional Facility. I fully support him in the life changes he has made. Yes he made some mistakes in the past but I am stand behind him with strong conviction that he has changed.
Anthony has a strong support system and will be a law abiding citizen once allowed to re-enter society. He is not a threat to society in fact I believe with the time him has spent in prison has actually helped him. He knows this is not a game and his is not a child any more. Being in prison for the last 2-½ years has really forced and enabled my husband to look at his life. Which is something that we do together all the time in visits and in letters. He had to make the decision that he wanted a better life and that he was ready to be the man that he can be. This experience has shown him just how important it is to obey the law so that he can be home with his family.
I believe that he is ready to be that man. He wants to go back to school and better himself. Not only for himself but also for his children. I have watched Anthony change and mature, in this processes I have learned so much from him. The regret that he feels could never fully be expressed or understood. He has tried to have good conduct while in prison and for the most part has been pretty successful. I am very proud of the steps he has made to make a better and more positive life for himself. Anthony is committed to continue making life-changing decisions to better his life and I fully support him and all the positive attitude changes he has made. I have seen so many wonderful changes in his behavior and in this attitude. He has so much to look forward to and I look forward to the day that we can watch all these changes take there place in our family upon his release.
One of the goals with incarceration is to rehabilitate inmates and that is what has been transpiring in Anthony. He is more goal driven then ever. He is and always has been a very positive and caring person. He is a great husband and a great dad. We need him at home to help raise his children so we can insure they have a chance and can stay away from the prison system. I pray that you will look at his ability to rehabilitate and stay on track when you review for parole. He is a good man and I support any and all of the parole guideline, I am willing to go to classes with him, what ever it takes. We are able and willing to meet all the conditions of parole.
He has transportation, school is lined up for him at Tarrant County Community College, and he has a home to come home to and a wife who needs his help at home to raise our children. My husband is ready and has the support he lacked before to be an upstanding member of society. Please give him the opportunity to show you that he is ready for this chance. We are ready to work together to help him stay successful and remain on track. Thank you for your consideration of Anthony Higgins parole we trust that the appropriate decision will be made. Again, thank you for your time.

Respectfully,

Shortie
