Wayne wanted me to find some information on painting toll flowers - he's doing some artwork in our bathroom - and I don't have a clue what he's talking about. Any of you ever heard of this?

Please help! :(

LMAO. I almost posted and asked you what a toll flower was, until I read it again and saw that you don't know either. :ha:

LMAO.. Its spelled tole - its a form of painting.

Tole painting is very easy once you learn some basic brush strokes.

Here's some useful sites:

http://www.artistsclub.com/

http://www.craftsitedirectory.com/tolepainting/

or just google tole painting.

I tole paint so if he's looking for a specific kind of flower I can lead him to a good artists patterns.

LOL!

I figured out I had it spelled wrong. Wayne told wrong! He said it was T-O-L-L (even though he denies it now! ;)

Thanks so much for the links! I'll post pics of the bathroom when we get done!

MY :twocents:

Priscilla Hauser and Donna Dewberry are the best when it comes to flowers. Donna Dewberry has easy to follow insturction cards that are sold at WalMart and craft shops!

When I worked at Michael's, my best fried took the entire Donna Dewberry course (I used to call it Donna Dingleberry, LOL), since employees got all classes for the bubble. And Donna D classes were always booked solid, months in advace.....verrrrrrry popular!

She got so good at it, she's turned it into a part-time side business. She did her dining room ceiling in soft green vines and morning glories, and it blew me away! Next time I went over, she had done her mailbox, and her back door. I used to joke that one day I'd pull up to find her 4 kids in the driveway, covered in painted flowers :D

Keep in mind, this friend was not artistically inclined at all (can't even draw stick figures), so anyone can learn. Michael's Arts and Crafts is an excellent source of DD painting supplies. Start off small, with a few pattern cards ($1.49-3.29 each), and the starter kit of paint.

Have fun!
