Notes:

ADC DATASEARCH information is currently being recompiled weekly. Unverified inmate information may be subject to a seven day delay prior to being incorporated into this DATASEARCH. Verified information on new inmates may take longer before being incorporated.

This DATASEARCH feature is under development. Operational and data enhancements will be introduced as they become available.

ADC website inmate data is not exhaustive. The database consulted to provide information in this DATASEARCH covers over 112,000 inmates who were in the custody of ADC in 1985 and inmates arriving thereafter.

Inmates admitted and released during the period 1972 - 1985 may not be represented on this website. For information relating to these inmates, please contact ADC.

Data relating to over 30,000 inmate admissions for the 100 years up to 1972 can be found in ADC's Historical Register.
Additional historical information about Arizona's early prisons and inmate population can be found at the State of Arizona Archives and website.

Details of inmate offenses can be accessed by reviewing the case file at the Office of the Clerk of the Court where the case was adjudicated.

Inmate convictions and sentences are based on the statutes in effect at the time the offense(s) were committed.

If you experience technical difficulty in using the DATASEARCH, email our Technical Helpdesk.

If you have a further question relating to specific inmate detail, email our Public Access division.
All release dates given are subject to change and require confirmation prior to any release from prison.
Sentence expiration date is provided for guidance. Confirmation can be sought by contacting ADC or by calling 1-900-226-8682 (Toll Call).

Inmate Access to Information from ADC’s Inmate Datasearch
Pursuant to A.R.S. section 31-221(E), an inmate "shall not have access to any prisoner records other than viewing the prisoner's own automated summary record file." This means that, other than the AIMS report that inmates are allowed to receive once a year, they may not have any other information about their own or any other inmate’s prison record. This includes information regarding inmates downloaded and copied from the Arizona Department of Corrections website. If this information is sent to an inmate, it shall be treated as contraband. The sender will be liable to prosecution under A.R.S. section 13-2505 "Promoting Prison Contraband". This is a Class 5 felony subject to two and a half years in the Department of Corrections.

Although Department Order 909.02.1.16 provides that inmates may receive copies of material from the Internet enclosed within incoming mail, material that is deemed to constitute a direct and immediate threat to the security, safety or order of the institution can be denied. Inmate information from the ADC website falls into this category.

It is important to ensure that ADC employees do not allow this information into the prison. If an inmate is found with this contraband in his housing area, it should be removed immediately and treated as contraband.
