Does anyone know how long it takes for the guys to get mail at Tehachapi? My husband was transfered there on the 17th of last month, and I got a letter yesterday he'd written on the 6th saying he still hadnt gotten any of my letters... Could the lockdown be stopping or slowing mail down?

I don't know what's going on there but I got a letter from my pen pals in Tehachapi today that was dated 02-20-2005... Normally his letters get here in 5 days.... I hope you will get a letter soon!

My husband normally gets his letters 5 to 8 days after I send them. The prison is not allowed to withhold mail for any reason - including lockdowns.

Can they recieve paper and pencils and how must it be packaged?
