The United States Supreme Court struck down the death penalty for juveniles this week. Though no longer condemned to die, these former death-row inmates will likely spend the rest of their lives behind bars. More than 11 years ago, Jacki Lyden spent time at the Michigan State Reformatory, talking to juveniles who had been sentenced to life for their crimes. The warden at the time was Pam Withrow. Withrow has since retired, and the prison has been closed. She talks about her life now, and her reaction to the ruling.
