okay I just went and looked at the top 10 petitions and the number 1 with over 20000 signatures is the save spongebob squarepants petition they are wanting to take him off the air my kids watch spongebob too but people like you and I are trying to save peoples life who do they think they are sorry but this has made me so mad gosh thisworld is full of selfish idiots whew I am mad thanks for letting me get this off my che :argh

It is regrettable that we live in a society with misguided priorities, values and morals...often choosing to do nothing on the premise that unless it effects the individual person personally. They are not required to care, to get involved or have empathy for their fellow man. Somewhere along the way of evolution, technology and fast food, human life and human suffering became less of a concern of others. We live in an era that has seen an uprise of the words, "I have rights!", yet, rarely do these people understand...so does the other guy. We are quick to judge; to condem...but rare are we to forgive, to help or even to listen. In our sunken selfish solitude, we have become what we commonly deplore...all the while never realizing that had we stopped for only a moment to look around, we could have become a better society than we are.
