View Full Version : Cop tries to help fellow cop
Here is another example of our police force. Check this out guys. A copy is drunk, hits a car and kills 4 people and his fellow cops tries to help him pass the alcohol test so he wouldn't get into trouble.......Typical!!

David 04-26-2002, 10:19 AM I'm with you all the way Sherri. These guys should be hung hight for this.. It happens all the time. This guy may be "retired" but in my view, he should loose at least some of his pension.
David
danielle 04-26-2002, 10:27 AM I agree - it's just not right. A total outrage.
love muffin 04-26-2002, 12:29 PM Isn't it great how the system works.

Shortie 04-26-2002, 07:44 PM this is such a load of bull. If that was anyone else they would go on trial and be found guilty and get like 50 to life or something. Just cuz he's a cop and not a very good one apprently, he gets off.. That is just sad. Just like all those cops in NY who beat up and hurt that jamican man. However they were not all so lucky to get away with it.
bella 04-27-2002, 04:52 PM The usual from America's "finest" and "most honorable". I think they need a new motto. Any suggestions?
Michelle
jdswifey02 04-27-2002, 05:42 PM I have a few, but they aren't nice....
Shortie 04-27-2002, 07:51 PM that is alright jd most of the ones they deserve are not nice but hey if the motto fits
Shan & Kev 04-28-2002, 06:41 PM Hey :)
How about rather than "To Serve and Protect", to "Screw and Be Detested"?
Boy, does this ever put me in a mood....stories like this one.
Shannon

danielle 05-05-2002, 11:29 PM It wasn't for a lack of trying! Imagine if he had been a poor kid from the ghetto instead of a cop...wonder how he would have been treated then.
We don't have to imagine. We already know.

Drinking and driving is a really sore spot with me. However, I can't believe a lawyer would actually say what this guys lawyer said.
Gray's attorney, Harold Levy, conceded that Gray was driving while intoxicated, but claimed his client's high alcohol tolerance gave him the "ability" to drive.
"High alcohol tolerance"?
:argh :argh :argh
Budwoman 05-07-2002, 07:50 AM BODY WEIGHT AND HOW MUCH YOU ARE USED TO DRINKING DOES HAVE A LOT TO DO WITH TOLERANCE, BUT, IF A STATE HAS A LEGAL LIMIT, IT DOES NOT MATTER ABOUT TOLERANCE, IF YOU ARE OVER THAT LIMIT, THEN YOU ARE OVER IT.
I WORK FOR A BEER DISTRIBUTOR. WE HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL, TEACH MODERATION... WE STARTED THE BUDDY SYSTEM OF DRIVING WHILE DRINKING YEARS AGO AS A COMPANY FOCUS.....
ALCOHOL IS LEGAL, BUT THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO GET BEHIND THE WHEEL OF A CAR AND NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING..... THEY DON'T NEED PRISON, BUT THEY DO NEED HELP.....

sherri13 05-07-2002, 10:34 AM PONT IS I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE OR WHAT YOU DO FOR A LIVING-IF THERE IS TO BE TRUE JUSTICE-EVERYONE MUST BE TREATED THE SAME-EQUAL CONSEQUNCES FOR EQUAL BEAHVIORS-NO PLAYING FAVORITES, OR MONEY CAN BUY YOU OUT OF IT-
B-Ray 05-07-2002, 08:09 PM >>>THE SAME-EQUAL CONSEQUNCES FOR EQUAL BEAHVIORS<<<
Couldn't have said it better!! Will if ever be possible that "money" will not be a controlling factor?
