Hi Everyone. I wanted to post something regarding the TB breakout at NSP. Just in case any of you have loved ones at NSP, and haven't heard from them, they have been on lock down due to the fact that there has been a lot of officers and inmates coming up positive for TB. They all had to get a shot (not fun I am sure). I am not sure if they are off lockdown yet, but I wanted to let everyone know what was going on. I tried finding some news on it because I know they had it on the news out there, but I can't seem to find anything. If I hear anything else, or anything new, I will let you know.

Yuck! Don't they vaccinate up there for that kind of thing? At HDSP/ Indian Springs I believe everyone gets a shot against it on a regular basis.

I am not really sure if they vaccinate or not. Obviously if they do, they need to do a better job...lol..... I just spoke to my husband, and he says that they are not letting guys go out to visit for fear of spreading it, etc.....I would be pissed if I went out there for a visit and they turned me away....so if anyone is going out to NSP, I would definitely call first.

I'd be pissed if I went there and ended up coming down w/ it!
The whole situation is just too much. To think that in this day and age we have to worry about things like TB!:eek:
