I got a letter today to tell me that instead of transfering him to Centinela (2 hours away, which is closer to us) they sent him to Folsom. 7 hours from here. When he told them they said he was going to Centinela they said "Oh well!" So I am sad now, because I was finally going to be able to visit him, now I can't. So all the studying I have been doing on Centinela was for nothing. I guess I am bummed cause he is so far. I guess it is a good feeling to know that he was closer, now he really feels distant from me. So what happens when he gets released? How does he get back to San Diego? UGH I am so confused!!! It just gets worse and worse. Anyone have any spare hugs to give out?

Lots!! (((((HUGS)))))))) I had to deal with this when mine was supposed to get transferred to Salinas (an hour from home) and instead was sent seven hours away... GRRRRRRR! All I can say is hang in there. Now he has been transferred to less than 3 hours away so I count my blessings.
It is hard, but when all was said and done I couldn't believe how often I could make that 7 hour trip! I once went there round-trip in one day for a one hour visit behind glass when he was in ad seg (did the drive in 6 hours LOL). Where there's a will, there's a way...

:( Sorry to hear that!!! My daughters's dad was at Delano, hoping he'd be able to come down south. But he ended up at New Folsom:mad: . But you have to admit it's better than way up North!:) I've flown up there 2 times and they have awesome shopping outlets up there to keep you occupied:thumbsup: . Anyhow keep your head up and good things come to those who wait!;) God Bless you.
