Did the stupid DA take into consideration that maybe the guy was hungry. He stole a candy bar not cigs or beer. He should appeal all the way to the supreme court! This is a perfect example of taxpayers wasting $ to keep someone in prison.

that is insane yes he was a petty theif but come on 16 yrs. Get real that is just insane.. It is amazing what the law in texas will do to you. That is why I want to move as soon as Anthony is off of parole and we are able to get out of here.
