I have a friend in Shawangunk - I been trying to find out how to get there but every service I call tells me they do not provide transportation there.

Central Van service goes, Rosie goes there and some others as well...the numbers are at the top.

go to www.prisonhelp.com (http://www.prisonhelp.com) they have all the transporting systems available with prices & pickups... Or if you are driving it also gives you directions which I can give you also... My husband was there for a year.... It's about a hour & a half or so... exit 17 off 87

I'm a little nervous about the visit - I hear that they're pretty strict.

they are not strict. just do not wear a wire bra or anything too sexy, like make sure you are not wearing too short of a skirt and make sure the shirt is not see through, inside the Cos are pretty cool, don't worry about it.

I have been visiting Shawangunk for 6 years now and have never seen a luxory bus there. I have taken almost every service up there, and I have gone on weekends and weekdays.

If you feel i was rude. My apologys. I've been very stressed these couple of days.For that's not me & I'm not that kind of individual...:o
Maybe you've never seen it because it doesn't look like a regular van service. and also they don't have there name on the van it's on the license plate. It actually is a conversion van. believe me when i tell you looking at it you would never think it takes people to prisons. looks like something you would travel with. :) PS. Before i forget it's not a bus it's a van. You should try it. and then you'll understand what i mean...

I KNOW THAT THEY GO TO DIFFERENT PRISONS LIKE SHAWANGUNK, DOWNSTATE, SING SING, WALLKILL AND GREEN HAVEN AND ALSO FIVE POINTS. BUT ONLY WHEN THEY HAVE ATLEAST 2 PASSENGERS OR MORE BUT FOR 5 POINTS IT HAS TO BE 5 OR 6. THAT'S ALL I KNOW..:thumbsup:
