I have never experienced this before, so I hope I don't sound like an idiot.
But has anyone ever gotten a sudden rejection by your man when the subject of marriage came up? Is it such a hard concept to get married while inside?
Why do we need to wait until he gets released?
shygirl...
i have had plenty of rejection in my life...yikes!
are you saying that your loved one doesn't want to get married while he is incarcerated? have you two discused why? are there good reasons?
i believe there are many valid reasons to wait to get married...just as there are many reasons to get married while a person is incarcerated. it's similar to relationships that have nothing to do with prisons...it's up to the couple to decide...
perhaps we could offer more comfort/advice if we had a little more info?
wishing you well,
emme
i think alot of us has. I know it is not a pleasant thing to go through.

definitely fill us in. if two people love one another it shouldnt matter where you get married. you can even ask Dr.Phil. and that is a very true statement.

No, it's not a pleasant thing to deal with, but not knowing the whole story all I can say is hopefully it isn't a rejection, but more of him thinking of your feelings first and how hard he thinks it will be.

Shy, I have the exact opposite problem. Once they find out I am not interested in marriage, all of the sudden they want to get married. i am not sure of the psychology behind it. It has someting to do with relationship dynamics. Try acting as though you do not want to marry and being a little more aloof and see if he doesnt turn around.
