Chippewa Falls Humane Association had an fire earlier this week and many animals were lost - appx. something like 60 cats and 20 dogs -of smoke inhalation :(. There were some some dogs that survived but are sick.

Needless to say there is a huge clean up effort underway to try and help rebuild - and they had inmates come in from Chippewa Valley Correctional to help in this process and knowing people like we all do I am sure they are not receiving any recognition for this. I know this could not have been an easy thing to face but they did.
