Loving a man on death row is like riding a roller coaster...can I hang in there till the end and be in that room when he is executed...OH MY GOD!!! Sometimes I feel like doing more than pulling my hair out!! Hello, folks, I am engaged to be married to a wonderful man on Death Row in Texas. We will tie the knot in March. I may be a widow before I'm 30, but I've never loved anyone so PURELY, so TRULY. Does this make sense?? Life is funny sometimes, life sucks sometimes...but it is just that...LIFE. I have to say that I am a little jealous of you gals whose men get to come home and hold you. :-) I mean that in the nicest way possible. No hatred in my heart. Are you kidding?? I'm marrying a death row inmate!! Lol...love is blind...love conquers all. Till next time...blessed be.

Hi IndianPrincess... Welcome to PTO! Congratulations on your engagement. Have you set a date yet?

Think about the happy days that you have together and not the day when he may be taken from you. You sound very happy... treasure those days... rememberall of those days.

First I would like to say Welcome to PTO! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding to your man. My husband isn't on Death Row but I feel for you girl I mean dealing with your soon to be husband and then watching him be executed in front of your face, you seem like a very strong woman and very much in love. All I have to say is God will always show you the way in life and you & your husband will forever be connected for life! Hang in there & God Bless!

honey i completely understand, and if you ever need to talk just pm me. i am going to marry a man on death row in 7 days and i dont feel ill regret a thing. i know how you are feeling exactly. we have discussed many times the what ifs of an execution, etc, and you know what? with all that being a possibility i still chose to stand by my man because i love him and i know he loves me. many things can change. i may be a widow before im 40, but if God gives me 10 years with him then i want to enjoy those years with my baby. my babys sentence is not set in stone, other than the fact that he's on death row, but in any case we bring a signifigant amount of joy to eachothers life, and im grateful because to be in love like we are is a true gift. so if you love him, stand by him. nothing will ever prepare you for that "time" if it comes, but atleast always know that youre giving him a great gift, and that gift is your love. pm me if you ever need to talk.

I admire all those amazing women here in PTO who are going to marry a death row inmate. I mean, one must be extra strong - the love must be incredible strong... one have to go through difficult situations - stand unconfortable questions from the family or friends... This is a wonderful example on which you can see that love knows no boundries.
You are amazing ladies!
One question is still in my mind: Did you already know your man before he came to Death Row or have you found each other when he was already there?
Just asking...

i knew mine when we were younger, but i was too young for him to even look at me. i was like 10 and he was 17, so it couldnt be anything between us back then. as i got older i got curious about him, found out where he was and got at him. we started kickin' it and ended up together. and ive been the happiest woman ever since! :)

Merry meet! When you bind the cords make it for more than this lifetime and jump the broom. We cannot control who is put in our lives and often the gods have a sense of humor. The ebb and flow of the tides and what pulls them makes for the rollercoaster. If it was all even think of how boring it would be! When he walks in the the room does he take your breath away, give you goosebumps and make your pulse quicken? Those of us who are on a similar journey understand the joy. Those who aren't rarely do. Enjoy! And don't pull your hair out - you'll look funny!
Merry Part and Merry meet again!

NO! so i feel you ladies, and may God! Bless! you and yours. P.S. Congrat! to Indianprincess on her upcomming Wedding ONE LOVE!:)
