My husband's viral load test results came back today. The amount of Hep-C in his system is so low that it didn't even register on the test! The nurse said that either his system is successfully ridding itself of the virus, as happens in about 15% of patients, or the virus is dormant now and may reappear later. He will be tested again in 6 months. The nurse said this is the first time she's ever been able to give anyone good news from a viral load test, and we are rejoicing and thanking God tonight!!

Now, as soon as you can, get him on an herbal regimen that will strengthen his liver. Details are in other posts in this forum. Also, in the remaining time before his release, EDUCATE YOURSELF about the diet he will need etc.
