hi everyone , I have never came into this forum untill now. I always stayed mostly in the immigration forum. due to my brother's circumstance. my story is this. my brother was locked up in feb 2002 and he ended his state sentence for grand larceny on dec2002. well we all thought he was coming home boy were we ever wrong, the fedral marshals picked him up on the day of his release and put him in a louisiana detention center seeking to deport him from this country. the immigration laws are pretty tough and if you are not a citizen of the U.S. you can be deported and he was. to make a long story short I was there for my brother steven everyday if he needed something or court documents to try to fight to stay I was with him through it all up untill they oreder him deported and he left this country on december 16, 2004 going back to his birth country the unite kingdom which he has never ever seen. you know this whole process has affected me dearly because god knows when I will ever see my brother again because he is not allowed to enter the U.S. for 20 years and that is a long time not to see someone you so love. he has settle in there with my mom's mom that lives there but we sure do miss him here with us, I cry alot because I truly do miss him and I would help him allover again if I had to.
thankyou for letting me share my story and I hope you continue to support your brother or sister who is on the other side that truly does need your help. take care and god bless all siblings.

Welcome to the Siblings Forum julie- I have read some of your posts in the Immigration Forum so I know a bit about what happened. I didn't know he would not be able to return to the U.S. for 20 years!! What about the possibility of arranging a future visit with him in another country like Canada -have you considered that? I know a little about how you are feeling-my brother is in the U.S. and I am in Canada and I have no idea when I will be able to see him again. I think you are wonderful to have helped and supported him so much through all of this- glad you posted here and I am looking forward to reading more of your posts.
