Hi.. I was just wondering if anyone knew what happened at the Annex last week. I had heard that an inmate who was on lock-up was murdered.

There was no mention on the news or in the papers..

The attack was motivated by two different factions of the UBN or better known as Bloods. The attacker saw the opportunity to retaliate against a rival leaders homie. He attacked him as he was leaving the Seg area to attend an adjustment hearing. He brutally slashed him with a knife. The victim died shortly after from massive injuries. The attacker has a long history of violence in prison, including several serious stabbings. He should have been at Super Max for his entire bit. The state however, uses the Super Max to house Federal detainees. The Feds pay them a huge daily price to house these prisoners. They can operate the SuperMax at a profit and as we all know you can not run a prison in the black. The state is in the "business" for the money. They are not concerned about the safety of MD's inmates. The state has had eight prison murders in the last two years. This is an unbelievable number! The policy of keeping these Extremely violent inmates in lower security than they were origionally classified is idiotic and threstens all inmates and staff( the staff that are left after they reduced Correctional Officers by 33%).
They had an inmte stabbed at MHC yesterday that was helicoptered out. The number I quoted could have gone up by one. You will not hear about it on TV thouhg,Mr. Sizer will not allow the prison to respond to inquiries. Call HQ's if you doubt me.
