My name is Diona, I currently live in Illinois.
I work as an Administrative Assistant (glorified secretary) for an insurance service company.
I love all forms of music & movies.
My passion is writing poetry, I currently have 3 poems published on a web site & 2 in poetry books. I have an old short story I had written for a creative writing class that I started a while ago. I am now working on it & extending it into a full book.
I am currently working on my fiance EJ's book! He is writing a Really Good Thiller while he is incarcerated & he is sending it to me chapter by chapter. I am enjoying editing it & typing it up for him! Look out world EJ's book is going to be a best seller!
My dream is to travel all around the world! I want to wait until EJ comes home for that though. So far I have only been to Las Vegas twice, California, Wisconsin & Michigan. Not exactly the world at all, but I will get there.
Well that's about it for me...not too much to my life. I just wanted to share a little bit about myself with you all.

Diona-thnaks for the info! Sounds like we have a lot in common-one of my dreams is to travle too-and I also write poetry and song lyrics--can't wait to see EJ's book-I am encouraging Ron to write one too--basically an autobiography--think it could be very helpful to others who are involved in the criminal justice system due to addictions.

i share your travel dreams.. right now my husband uses all his time off on "back spasms" which are caused by stress. no time to even go to the next county! :(

Hi Diona...nice to get to know you better....I've never really traveled but i'd love to start one day soon...and I've been writing poetry since I was like 11...so we got that in common

We will have to swap poetry sometime. I have been writing since I was 14. Got a stock pile of poems...lately the 1's I have been writing are about EJ. I know he loves them!!

check out the 'Poetry' forum, a lot of us have posted poems there we wrote. I just posted one I wrote like 15 min. ago for Darrell...I normally write poems in Dutch or French...that reminds me I still have to post the french poem...

I am going to post a couple poems I wrote for EJ on there.
I am also going to bring the poem he wrote about our "friendship" (back when he was trying to win me over). It's really pretty & I got his message LOUD & CLEAR after reading that poem.
