Do inmates receive mail while they are locked down?

FYI - I just called the Chino information and it said no visitations for this 1-15-05 or 1-16-05.

They will always get mail, even during lockdown.

Everytime a yard is locked down someone at the rank of Captain or above will make a Plan of Operations which details what will be allowed and what is not allowed. Mail is very rarely denied but it is possible.

Hi Sgt,

Our family members always look to see if you're making statements. You are always "on target" . We have a family member in the VSPW facility. Inmates were confined to rooms from Monday the day of Chino incident until Friday. Women were not allowed phone calls, or mail, and were not permitted to go to 'work'. The newest wrinkle in the facility is the downsizing of the womens' personal belongings, down to a six foot space.
But, we family members realize the inmates must follow orders, as they are not residing in a country club resort.
Thank you for your intelligent comments, and answering so many questions we all need answers to!

Thank you. I can't promise happy news but I try to answer all questions as honestly as I am able.
