I am thinking of going to see Michael next weekend and was thinking about taking my 10 year old son to meet him. Does anyone know the rules regarding children? I never paid much attention before because I never thought about taking my son but I think it would be good for him.

(((thinking))) I believe the inmate has to be listed as the father on the birth certificate and the child must be on visitation list...I think......

Every facility has their own rules concerning that. I would call the front office and ask!

My children have never been able to see Kenny until he was transfer to Bibb...where they allow the Vistor's children to vist with them...so I feel very very lucky to be able to carry my kids to see Kenny, it has been a blessing seeing them "get to know" each other and build a relationship. I believe it will make a world of difference once he's home.

Hey! I took my son to see my bf while he was at Ventress. The inmate has to be listed on the birth certicate and i had to have a registered copy of it. In other words it couldn't be the one they just give you at the hospital..this one has to come from the state. I am so glad when my son was born my bf had ordered one for me. If not I wouldn't have been able to take him in.
